It all started when…
Javaun Francis (FDA c/o 2011 & Boston University c/o 2015) along with other members of the Class of 2011 decided to start a scholarship fund to provide financial assistance to graduating seniors matriculating from the Frederick Douglass Academy.
FDA students have always had a strong fellowship, which continues post- graduation. As a collective, the members of the Scholarship Committee wish for this scholarship fund to be one of many more to come. FDA has provided all of its graduates with key tools ranging from academic resources to personal growth. Giving back to fellow lions is the ultimate proof of gratification that we all have for this school.
